Media Advisory: Minister Bennett to Complete Investor Relations Work and Attend the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women
The Honourable Cathy Bennett, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will be in New York from Friday, March 10, until Tuesday, March 14.
On Friday, March 10, Minister Bennett will be completing investor relations work as the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador looks to expand its borrowing program outside the domestic market. Friday evening Minister Bennett will also be attending a reception hosted by the Consular General for Canada.
Beginning on Sunday, March 12, Minister Bennett will be meeting with Provincial and Federal Status of Women counterparts as well as attending a portion of the 61st Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
