Media Advisory: Minister Trimper to Hold Media Availability

The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will be available to the media on Monday, January 30, to speak about the current closure of portions of the T’Railway Provincial Park and a recent independent engineering assessment of the damaged sections.

Prior to the media availability, Minister Trimper is expected to be joined for a meeting with representatives for the Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Transportation and Works and MHA for Grand Falls-Windsor - Buchans, and the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services and MHA for Gander; with Derek Bennett, MHA for Lewisporte - Twillingate; Colin Holloway, MHA for Terra Nova; and Jerry Dean, MHA for Exploits; as well as representatives from the Newfoundland and Labrador Snowmobile Federation, Newfoundland T’Railway Council, Exploits TrailsNet, Gander & Area Snowmobile Association, and the Notre Dame Snowmobile Association.

Minister Trimper will speak to the media after the meeting concludes at approximately 2:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Transportation and Works Central Region Depot, 3 Duggan Street, Grand Falls-Windsor.
