Media Advisory: Minister Kirby to Speak at Sharing Our Cultures Event

The Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, will bring greetings at the opening ceremonies for Sharing Our Cultures on Sunday, March 19.

The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at The Rooms, 9 Bonaventure Avenue, St. John’s.

Sharing Our Cultures was established in 1999 and events are held in recognition of the United Nations Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21) and Newfoundland and Labrador’s Multiculturalism Week. This year’s theme is A Moment in our History.
