Media Advisory: Minister Kirby to Celebrate Pink Shirt Day

The Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, will bring greetings during the Safe and Caring Schools/Pink Shirt Day Assembly at St. Francis of Assisi School, located at 29 Outer Cove Road, tomorrow (Wednesday, February 22) at 10:00 a.m.

Pink Shirt Day takes place during Violence Awareness Week in schools, and aims to raise awareness about different forms of bullying and highlight initiatives that help prevent bullying.
