Media Advisory: Minister Kirby to Celebrate Family Literacy Day

The Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, will participate in an event at Cape St. Francis Elementary School at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23. Cape St. Francis Elementary is located at 31 Satellite Road, Pouch Cove.

Minister Kirby will be recognizing Family Literacy Day which falls on January 27. Held annually, Family Literacy Day is a national initiative to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.
