Public Advisory: Sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park Now Open

The sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park located between Port Blandford and Thorburn Lake and from Notre Dame Junction to Red Fox Road that had been closed are now open.

The Department of Environment and Climate Change is also advising the public that the Newfoundland and Labrador Snowmobile Federation is conducting field assessments and grooming operations in other closed areas of the T’Railway. Please note that these areas remain closed and will continue to be marked by signage.

Openings and closures will be communicated on the Department of Environment and Climate Change’s website at: www.ecc.gov.nl.ca/parks/parks/trailway/.

The Department of Environment and Climate Change would like to thank the public and stakeholders in the snowmobiling community for their patience and collaboration as we address the challenge of dealing with the damages to the T’Railway Provincial Park as a result of the Thanksgiving rainstorm.
