Media Advisory: Ministers Dempster and Haggie to Speak at Northern Rural and Remote Health Conference
The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, and the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will speak at the Northern Rural and Remote Health Conference in Labrador.
Minister Haggie will speak tomorrow (Saturday, October 7) at 8:30 a.m. Minister Dempster will address attendees on Monday, October 9 at 8:45 a.m. Both ministers will be speaking at the Lawrence O’Brien Arts Centre of Mealy Mountain Collegiate, 1 Voisey Drive, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
The Northern Rural and Remote Health Conference brings together participants from across Canada, and globally, to share solutions and innovations to providing services to Northern, rural and remote regions of Canada and adapt them to the local context.
