Media Advisory: Minister Mitchelmore to Speak at the Fogo Island Co-operative's Gala
The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, and Derrick Bragg, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, will speak at the Fogo Island Co-op's Gala Dinner and Dance tomorrow (Saturday, August 26) at 7:00 p.m. The event takes place at the Fogo Island Sports Complex in Joe Batt's Arm at 6:00 p.m.
As Fogo Island’s largest employer, the Fogo Island Co-op’s mandate is to provide a living to its membership made up of fishers, plant workers and management employees.
