Media Advisory: Minister Mitchelmore to Attend Federal, Provincial and Territorial Meetings for Ministers of Culture and Heritage
The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, will be attending Federal, Provincial and Territorial meetings of ministers responsible for culture and heritage this week. The meetings take place on August 22 and 23 in Orford, Quebec.
Topics being discussed include: cultural policy in the digital age, cultural industries and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), heritage preservation and the new strategic framework of the Federal-Provincial-Territorial (F-P/T) Table of Ministers Responsible for Culture and Heritage.
