Media Advisory: Minister Hawkins to Attend Forum of Labour Market Ministers Meeting
The Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, will meet with the Forum of Labour Market Ministers today (Tuesday, October 24) in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Minister Hawkins will participate in a provincial, territorial, and federal meeting co-chaired by the Honourable Steven Bonk, Saskatchewan Minister of the Economy, and the Honourable Patty Hajdu, federal Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour. Ministers will discuss a wide range of priorities concerning Canada’s labour market.
The Forum of Labour Market Ministers was established in 1983 as an intergovernmental forum aimed at strengthening cooperation on the labour market priorities of the provinces, territories, and Canada.
