Media Advisory: Minister Byrne and Minister Mitchelmore to present Lean Manufacturing certificates to SkyHawk Telematics
The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, and the Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, will highlight the benefits of the Provincial Government’s partnership with the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association to provide Lean training for companies throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The event will take place at SkyHawk Telematics at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, July 12) at 238 Torbay Road where the ministers will also present certificates.
Lean Manufacturing is an effective means of reducing excess within the manufacturing process while supporting continuous operational improvement.
