Public Advisory: Final Preparations Underway for Return to Service of MV Veteran

Sea trials for the MV Veteran underway at Fogo Island and Change Islands are concluding. These are the second phase of sea trials, following several days testing which took place in St. John's. The vessel will proceed to Lewisporte Saturday, July 2 to undergo a post-trial, pre-service entry analysis by Damen Shipyards, Rolls Royce and the Department of Transportation and Works.

Following the post-trial, pre-service analysis, the vessel is expected to begin regular service to Fogo Island - Change Islands - Farewell on Wednesday, July 6.
