Public Advisory: Load Restriction in Place for Mill Bridge in Grand Falls-Windsor

As the result of damage caused by an accident, a new posted load limit of 10 tonnes is in place for the bridge spanning the Exploits River behind the former paper mill property in Grand Falls-Windsor. For safety reasons, heavy loads are restricted until the bridge is repaired.

The new maximum load is posted on signs that have been installed at both sides of the bridge. The Department of Transportation and Works asks for the co-operation of motorists in following the new posted load of 10 tonnes. Updates will be provided as repair work progresses.
