Premier Recognizes Employees with Public Service Award of Excellence

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, honoured 35 Provincial Government employees today for their hard work and dedication to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador during the annual Public Service Award of Excellence ceremony.

�While everyone contributes to the important work of government, during Public Service Week we take a moment to honour a select group of individuals and teams who have made an outstanding contribution and a long-lasting difference through their work and in the lives of our residents. Please join me in congratulating the recipients of the 2015 Public Service Award of Excellence.�

Three individuals and four teams received the award at a ceremony held at the D.F. Cook Recital Hall, School of Music, Memorial University, St. John�s.

The individual award recipients are:

�The Public Service Award of Excellence is the highest award which any Provincial Government employee can receive, and is built on the four pillars of public service � excellence in service delivery, leadership, innovation and relationship building.
