Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Canadian Ferry Operators Association AGM and Conference

The Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works, will address the Canadian Ferry Operators Association 2015 Annual General Meeting and Conference tomorrow (Tuesday, September 15) in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Minister Brazil will deliver remarks at a luncheon set to begin at approximately 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time Zone), in the Pinnacle Ballroom at the Marriott Pinnacle, 1128 West Hastings Street. The minister will speak about marine ferry services in Newfoundland and Labrador, in particular recent vessel purchases and the ongoing tariff issue with the Federal Government.

The Canadian Ferry Operators Association is the national voice of the ferry industry in Canada. It is a member-based organization representing Canadian ferry owners, operators and industry stakeholders across the country. The association has more than 90 members, with its owner/operator members accounting for nearly all of the major ferry routes in Canada.
