Public Advisory: Placentia Gut Closed to Mariners
Mariners are advised that work is ongoing in Placentia Gut related to the
Placentia Bridge, and access to the channel underneath the bridge will be
unavailable tomorrow (Tuesday, September 15).
A barge will be
performing work in Placentia Gut beginning at approximately 4:00 a.m.
continuing to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow. Mariners will be unable to pass through
the channel at that time, and are asked to use extreme caution elsewhere in
the vicinity of the bridge.
Vehicle traffic on the Placentia Bridge
will not be impacted.
