Media Advisory: Minister to Name Bridge in Glovertown

The Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works, will be in Glovertown tomorrow (Friday, July 24) to name the bridge over the Terra Nova River the Andrew Sheppard Memorial Bridge. Minister Brazil will be joined by the Honourable Sandy Collins, Minister of Child, Youth and Family Services and MHA for Terra Nova, Glovertown Mayor Doug Churchill and council to unveil the name. The event will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the bridge in Glovertown along Main Street South.

Andrew Sheppard was a young resident of Glovertown who lost his life in a kayaking accident in 2012 on the Terra Nova River.
