Public Advisory: Cleanup and Closure of Outer Ring Road Taking Place This Sunday

The Department of Transportation and Works is reminding motorists that the Outer Ring Road between Logy Bay Road and Portugal Cove Road will be closed this Sunday, June 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The closure is required to enable clean-up efforts.

Electronic signs have been placed along the Outer Ring Road to provide advance notice of the road closure and barricades will be erected Sunday morning.

A second closure and clean-up will be scheduled for July for the section between Allandale Road and Topsail Road. Advance notification of this clean-up will also be provided as the date of the closure approaches.

The Department of Transportation and Works apologizes for any inconvenience to motorists and appreciates their patience and cooperation during these clean-up efforts.
