Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Street-Naming Ceremony in Honour of Sarah Davis of Paradise

The Honourable David Brazil, Minister of Transportation and Works, will speak at the street-naming ceremony for Sarah Davis Way in the Town of Paradise. The ceremony will take place tomorrow (Friday, April 17) at the Paradise Double Ice Complex at 1:00 p.m.

Sarah Davis is a Silver Medal winner with the Senior Women’s National Hockey Team at the 2015 International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championships which were held recently in Sweden. She previously played with the women’s team at the University of Minnesota and currently plays for the Calgary Inferno of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League. The ceremony coincides with the 2nd Annual Sarah Davis Invitational Female Hockey Tournament taking place in Paradise this weekend.
