Public Advisory: Sir Richard Squires Building in Corner Brook Closed

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that Sir Richard Squires building in Corner Brook is closed today (Monday, March 16) due to a break in the main water line. The building will remain closed tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17).

As a result of the building closure, the offices of Environment and Conservation, Transportation and Works, Labour Relations Agency, Crown Attorneys Office, Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs, Victim Services, Service NL, Office of Public Engagement, Rural Secretariat, Support Enforcement, Adult Probation, Crown Lands and Landlord Tenancies are also closed while repair work is being carried out.

Crews and staff are on site and a contractor specializing in flood clean-up has also been engaged.

An update will be provided as work progresses and it is determined when the building will reopen.
