Public Advisory: Residents Reminded Not to Push or Throw Snow into the Road

The Department of Transportation and Works is reminding residents not to push or throw snow into a road as it creates unsafe conditions for plow operators and motorists.

Individuals who do not comply could be fined by local police between $100 and $1,000. The department is also encouraging motorists to drive according to road conditions and that Snow Means Slow. Aggressive and distracted drivers can hinder the productivity of road maintenance operations and can create dangerous driving conditions.
