Public Advisory: Eastbound Traffic Detoured on the Trans Canada Highway at the Holyrood Access Road Overpass

The Department of Transportation and Works is advising motorists that the east bound lanes of the Trans Canada Highway at the Holyrood Access Road are temporarily closed due to a blown-over transport truck which is blocking traffic. Traffic is being detoured to the off and on ramps.

Current weather conditions are preventing the appropriate equipment from safely removing the truck. It will be removed when the high winds in the area subside.

The department is advising motorists to drive cautiously and according to road conditions.
