Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Opening of Memorial Baseball Field
The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Seniors, Wellness and Social Development, will participate in the official opening of the Edgar Hartery Memorial Field at the St. Pat's Baseball Complex, Carpasian Road, St. John's, on Monday, July 20. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Provincial Government has provided close to $118,000 in recent years for the revitalization of the St.Pat's Baseball Complex, which includes two baseball fields. The Edgar Hartery Memorial Field will be used primarily for St. John's Minor Baseball activities.
