Provincial Volleyball Championships Continue to be the Largest Adult Volleyball Competition in Canada

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association (NLVA) will have 118 teams take part in the Molson Senior Provincial Volleyball Championships this weekend, March 13-14.

Volleyball Canada has confirmed that this is the largest senior tournament in Canada for the fourth year. There will be over 2,200 athletes/ coaches/ officials and conveners taking part in 13 divisions consisting of male and female divisions A-B-C. The tournament will begin on Friday afternoon with the championship games on Saturday.

The divisions will take place on 21 volleyball courts from Grand Falls-Windsor to Glovertown with the main concentration in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor. After the completion of the tournament, the annual Molson Senior Provincial Party, a 19+ event, will take place on the Second Floor Banquet Room of Hotel Gander.
