Media Advisory: Ministers to Participate in Flag Raising for North American Occupational Safety and Health Week
The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Service NL, along with the Honourable Sandy Collins, Minister Responsible for the Workplace Health Safety and Compensation Commission, will participate in a flag raising ceremony to recognize North American Occupational Safety and Health Week. The event will take place on Monday, May 4, in St. John’s at 12:00 p.m. in the lobby of East Block, Confederation Building.
Ministers Crummell and Collins will be joined by Leslie Galway, CEO of the Workplace Health and Safety Compensation Commission, as well as representatives from safety groups and the labour and business sector.
North American Occupational Safety and Health Week promotes the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace and at home.
