Public Advisory: Update on Services Available in the Sir Richard Squires Building
The Departments of Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs (Crown Lands Office) and Service NL are providing an update on their offices in the Sir Richard Squires Building in Corner Brook that were impacted by a break in the water line earlier this week.
Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs
Residents wishing to contact Crown Lands on general inquiries, applications, or other information can call the central regional lands office in Gander at 709-256-1400.
For inquiries on mapping please contact the Crown Lands Administration Division in St. John�s at 709-729-3305.
If residents are dropping off documents they can leave the documents with Municipal and Intergovernmental Affairs offices on the sixth floor of the Sir Richard Squires Building. The phone number is 709-637-2332.
Service NL
The Government Service Centre and Motor Registration offices have been temporarily relocated to the third floor of the building.
Residents can also access services on-line at: www.servicenl.gov.nl.ca/online_services/online_services.html, by email at mrdmail@gov.nl.ca, or by calling 1-877-636-6867.
The Service NL website provides online access to:
- Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates
- Online Vehicle Renewal
- Road Test Receipts
- The Automobile Dealer's Web
- Companies and Deeds
- The Registry of Lobbyists
- Applications for Gas Tank Registration
The departments advise that these are temporary measures. Further updates will be provided as work progresses.
