Media Advisory: 2015 Human Rights Award Ceremony

The Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission will present its inaugural Human Rights Award at a ceremony being held tomorrow (Thursday, December 10). The event begins at 3:15 p.m. with the award being presented at 3:30 p.m. at Government House in St. John's.

The 2015 Human Rights Award recognizes an individual who has made and/or continues to make a meaningful contribution to advancing and furthering human rights in the province. December 10 has been chosen as the date of presentation because it is also International Human Rights Day.
