Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Enhancements to Bridge the gAPP Program

The Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Community Services, will announce enhancements to the Bridge the gAPP program tomorrow (Friday, October 2) at the Suncor Energy Fluvarium in St. John's. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m.

Minister Kent will be joined by Sheldon Pollett, Interim Chairperson, Mental Health and Addictions Advisory Council and Executive Director, Choices for Youth; David Diamond, President and Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Health; and Peter Cornish, Associate Professor and Interim Director, Wellness and Counselling Centre, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Bridge the gAPP is a province-wide program that aims to support and promote mental wellness among individuals of all ages living in Newfoundland and Labrador.
