Media Advisory: Minister to Announce Health Care Funding for St. John’s

The Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Community Services, will announce health care funding for St. John’s tomorrow (Tuesday, August 4). The announcement will take place in Lecture Theatre D of the Health Sciences Centre at 1:00 p.m.

Minister Kent will be joined by the Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Environment and Conservation, Minister of Service NL and MHA for St. John’s West; John Dinn, MHA for Kilbride; David Diamond, President and Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Health; and Paul Snow, President and Chief Executive Officer, Health Care Foundation.

Media representatives are asked to meet at the main entrance of the Health Sciences Centre at 12:30 p.m. for escort to the lecture theatre.
