Public Advisory: Venue Changed for Grand Falls-Windsor Consultations Hosted by All-Party Committee on Mental Health and Addictions

The All-Party Committee on Mental Health and Addictions will hold todays (Tuesday, June 23) public consultation in Grand Falls-Windsor at an alternate venue. The consultation will now take place at the College of the North Atlantic, 5 Cromer Avenue. The session will not take place at the Mount Peyton Hotel as previously announced.

Event times and format will remain the same. The event will feature two separate sessions:

  • Public presentations will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and
  • Public dialogue and discussion will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

It is recommended that all participants pre-register to indicate session(s) in which they would like to take part. At the time of registration, participants are also encouraged to disclose any special arrangements they may require to participate.

The ideas and input gathered from the regional forums will help to improve the quality of mental health programs and services in Newfoundland and Labrador.
