Media Advisory: Minister to Celebrate National Cancer Survivors’ Day

The Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Community Services, will bring greetings at an event to celebrate National Cancer Survivors’ Day on Sunday, June 7. The event will be held at Memorial University in St. John’s, Room 2028 of the Physical Education Building, at 1:00 p.m.

The Provincial Government along with its partners Eastern Health, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation and Young Adult Cancer Canada, encourages survivors, their family members and friends, health care professionals and the public to participate in this celebration of cancer survivorship.
