Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Attend Memorial University’s School of Nursing Charity Ball

Kevin Pollard, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Community Services, will speak at the MUN School of Nursing’s Annual Charity Ball tomorrow (Saturday, March 28). The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, St. John’s.

The Nursing Charity Ball is an annual event held by Memorial University’s School of Nursing and the Centre for Nursing Studies that raises money for a selected local charity. This year’s event will support the YWCA, which provides programs and services that are aimed at empowering women and girls.
