Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Launch Event for Mental Health Mobile App
The Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Community Services, will speak at the launch event for a new mental health mobile app for youth tomorrow (Thursday, January 29). The event will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the cafeteria conference room at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre in St. John's.
Bridge the gAPP is Eastern Health's first health-related mobile app and aims to support and promote mental wellness for youth in Newfoundland and Labrador. The app provides youth with unique and relevant ways to access a number of mental health resources and supports.
