WastWaste Management Innovations Contribute to Sustainable Communities
Multi-Materials Stewardship Board Accepting Funding Proposals from Green Innovators
The Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB) is now accepting applications for the Solid Waste Management Innovation Fund. A total of $100,000 in funding is available to support initiatives that help advance implementation of the Provincial Solid Waste Management Strategy.
"Our government recognizes the importance of innovation in achieving sustainable waste management in Newfoundland and Labrador. Through the Solid Waste Innovation Fund we have invested more than $300,000 to support local entrepreneurs and innovators in developing initiatives that will have a long-term positive effect on our environment and communities."

The fund provides a maximum $15,000 non-repayable contribution to provincially owned or operated businesses, industry associations and non-profit organizations for the development of new or improved technologies, products, services or processes that support solid waste management in Newfoundland and Labrador.
