The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Environment and Conservation, has announced the following event relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.
UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:
Twin Falls Oasis RV Park (Reg. 1775)
Proponent: Shawn and Holly Gosse
The proponent has submitted a proposal to develop an RV Park on two hectares of private land located 10 kilometres west of Grand Falls-Windsor. The project will involve the construction of 30 RV lots, measuring 10 metres x 20 metres each, a small pumphouse building (five metres x six metres), a utility shed (seven metres x 15 metres), a registration/shower building (seven metres x 15 metres) and a 340 metre access road. This proposed undertaking will be located within 200 metres of Leach Brook, a tributary of the Exploits River, a scheduled salmon river. Construction is anticipated to begin in June 2015.
The undertaking was registered on January 5, 2015; the deadline for public comments is February 9, 2015; and the minister�s decision is due by February 19, 2015.
