Media Advisory: Kids Eat Smart Events Happening Across the Province

Kids Eat Smart is hosting the sixth Annual Rooting for Health which helps school aged children in our province recognize the relationship between farming, food and health. The events will be held in five schools across the province.

The Honourable Dan Crummell, Minister of Environment and Conservation and Service NL and MHA for St. John’s West, will join Tom Hedderson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Susan Sullivan, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, to serve breakfast to students at St. Matthews Elementary, 115 Cowan Avenue, St. John’s, tomorrow (Friday, March 13). The event will take place at 8:30 a.m.

Clayton Forsey, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Vaughn Granter, Minister Responsible for Forestry and Agrifoods Agency, will be participating in a similar event at Helen Tulk Elementary, 1 Forest Road, Bishop’s Falls. The event will take place at 8:15 a.m.
