Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Attend Miawpukek Come Home Year Celebrations

Kevin Parsons, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Darin King, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will bring greetings at the Miawpukek (Conne River) Come Home Year opening ceremony tomorrow (Friday, July 24) at 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at the McDonald Family Park, Miawpukek.

Come Home Year 2015 is a cultural celebration taking place from July 24 through August 2 which focuses on the culture and history of the Miawpukek First Nation. Events start with the St. Anne’s Day Celebration and will continue through to the annual Powwow, which begins July 31.
