Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Launch of First Trans-Atlantic Mapping Survey

The Honourable Darin King, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will attend the Atlantic Ocean Research Alliance launch of the first trans-Atlantic mapping survey Monday, June 1, 11:00 a.m., at the Marine Institute, St. John’s.

The survey will use the Irish research vessel, RV Celtic Explorer, to map the seafloor between St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador and Galway, Ireland.
