Media Advisory: Minister to Participate in Labrador Events
The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, will be in Labrador today (Friday, April 24) for a number of events.
- At 12:30 p.m., Minister Jackman will address an employer information session, Working Collaboratively to Support Employers and Industry in Labrador West, at the Wabush Hotel. This half-day information session for employers was developed by the Labrador West Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Provincial Government. The session will provide information on labour market and economic development supports and services in the Labrador West region.
- At 2:00 p.m., Minister Jackman will be joined by Nick McGrath, MHA for Labrador West, to announce a three-year social housing revitalization plan for the Cavendish Crescent neighbourhood in Labrador City. The announcement will take place in the Green Room on the first floor of the Labrador West Arts and Culture Centre, 300 Hudson Drive.
