Public Advisory: Repairs Scheduled for Overpass on Pitts Memorial Drive

The Department of Transportation and Works is advising motorists that crews will begin to install construction signage to mark repairs to the Pitts Memorial Drive/Conception Bay South By-pass above the Trans Canada Highway on Monday, October 6. Repairs will begin once all the signage is in place.

Repairs will be made to lanes travelling towards downtown St. John’s and are expected to take three to four weeks. Lane closures will be required. Motorists can expect long delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes.

The Department of Transportation and Works apologizes for any inconvenience to motorists and appreciates their patience and cooperation.
