Investments in Roads, Highways, and Bridges Benefit Residents and Businesses

Tenders to Include Bridge Replacement and Resurfacing on Routes 320 and 330

Tenders for the replacement of Barry’s Brook Bridge and resurfacing sections of Routes 320 and 330 will soon be released. The tenders are part of the Provincial Government’s $81 million investment in road, highway, and bridge upgrades throughout Newfoundland and Labrador that will benefit residents and businesses.

As part of the tenders, approximately two kilometres of Route 320 near New-Wes-Valley and 2.5 kilometres of Route 330-14, Ladle Cove Road will be resurfaced. Rehabilitation of the final three kilometres of Gander Bay Road will also take place this year through one of these tenders.

Budget 2014: Shared Prosperity, Fair Society, Balanced Outlook includes infrastructure investments totalling $852.7 million, which reflects the significance of a well-developed transportation network and access to infrastructure to Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

  • Tenders are being issued for the replacement of Barry’s Brook Bridge and repaving approximately two kilometres of Route 320 near New-Wes-Valley and 2.5 kilometres of Route 330-14 Ladle Cove Road.
