Public Advisory: MV Beaumont Hamel Operating as Weather Permits Due to Ice Conditions
The Department of Transportation and Works advises that due to deteriorating ice conditions on the Bell Island Tickle, the MV Beaumont Hamel is currently operating as conditions permit. If ice conditions continue to worsen, ice breaker assistance from the Canadian Coast Guard will be required.
The Department of Transportation and Works apologizes for any inconvenience to ferry users and appreciates their patience and cooperation during these adverse weather conditions. Ferry users may wish to consider adjusting their travel plans accordingly.
