Public Advisory: Ferries Return to Bell Island and St. Brendan’s

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that mechanical repairs are completed and the MV Flanders is expected in Portugal Cove to resume service this evening.

The MV Grace Sparkes will then depart for St. Brendan’s with service expected to resume tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21). Contingency helicopter service will then conclude.

The Department of Transportation and Works apologizes for any inconvenience to ferry users and appreciates their patience and cooperation during temporary reassignment of vessels.
