Basketball Teams Competing at Eastern Canadian Championships
The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) have a total of nine teams competing this weekend at the U14 and U13 Boys and Girls Eastern Canadian Championships taking place in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Clubs participating in the event are: U14 Boys and U13 Girls from Cowan Heights Youth Basketball League; U14 Girls A and B teams from the Square-up Basketball League; U13 Boys and Girls teams from Mount Pearl Minor; U14 Girls from the Goulds Hoopsters; U13 Boys from Feildians; and the U14 Boys from the Swilers Club.
Competition gets underway Friday with the finals slated for Sunday.
