Molson Provincial Volleyball Championships This Weekend

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association will have 114 teams take part in the Molson Senior Provincial Volleyball Championships this weekend, March 14-15. Volleyball Canada has confirmed that this is the largest senior tournament in Canada for the third year.

More than 2,000 athletes, coaches, officials and conveners will take part in 13 divisions, consisting of Male and Female Divisions A-B-C. The tournament will begin on Friday afternoon, with the championship games taking place on Saturday. The divisions will take place on 21 volleyball courts from Grand Falls-Windsor to Glovertown, with the main concentration in Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor.

Following the conclusion of the tournament, the annual Molson Senior Provincial Volleyball banquet will take place at Hotel Gander in the banquet room on the second floor.
