Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Volunteer Hall of Fame Induction Gala

The Honourable Steve Kent, Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, will speak at the third annual Newfoundland and Labrador Volunteer Hall of Fame Induction Gala tomorrow (Friday, October 3). The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, 115 Cavendish Square, St. John’s, with Minister Kent speaking at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is a supporter of the Volunteer Hall of Fame, which recognizes individuals and organizations who have made outstanding voluntary contributions to their communities and the province. Nine people will be inducted into the Volunteer Hall of Fame tomorrow evening.
