Media Advisory: Premier to Participate in
Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade

The Honourable Paul Davis, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on Sunday, September 28. The event begins at 1:30 p.m. at the site of the Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial behind East Block, Confederation Building, St. John’s.

The last Sunday in September is proclaimed annually as Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day. This special day provides an opportunity to formally express appreciation for those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
