Voter Information Cards Being Distributed
for Upcoming By-Elections
Electors in the districts of Humber East and Trinity-Bay de Verde are asked to watch their mail for Voter Information Cards being circulated by Elections Newfoundland and Labrador.
These cards will be sent to every elector who is currently on the voters list for the Humber East and Trinity-Bay de Verde districts. The cards outline voting options available to electors and critical contact information.
If an elector is not currently on the voters list, there is still time to register. The deadline for additions to the voters list for the by-elections is 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. An elector is still able to vote at a polling station if he or she is not on the voters list, but will have to produce appropriate identification and swear an oath.
Advance Poll day is Tuesday, November 18, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. By-Election day is Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
