Office of the Chief Electoral Officer - Special Ballot Deadlines Approaching in Provincial By-Elections
Elections Newfoundland and Labrador would like to notify electors in the districts of Humber East and Trinity-Bay de Verde that the deadline to apply for Special Ballot voting is approaching.
All Special Ballot applications must be received by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
Completed Special Ballot kits must be returned to either the Humber East Returning Office (1A Lester Avenue, Corner Brook) or the Trinity-Bay de Verde Returning Office (Main Street, Burnt Point) by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, or Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s head office (39 Hallett Crescent, St. John’s) by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014.
To obtain a Special Ballot application visit www.elections.gov.nl.ca, call Elections Newfoundland and Labrador at 1-877-729-7987 (toll-free), or call the Humber East district Returning Office at 639-6425 or the Trinity-Bay de Verde Returning Office at 584-3219.
