Election Workers Needed for Conception Bay South By-Election

Elections Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking applications for polling station workers for the Conception Bay South by-election. Workers are needed for advance polls on October 29, 2014, and for ordinary polls on November 5, 2014.

Applicants must meet certain qualifications in order to be considered for employment. An election worker must be:

  • 18 years of age or older;
  • a Canadian citizen;
  • a Newfoundland and Labrador resident the day before polling day; and
  • a resident of the Conception Bay South electoral district.

Interested individuals can apply online at www.elections.gov.nl.ca External Link.

Applications will also be accepted at the Conception Bay South Returning Office (350 Conception Bay Highway) and Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s head office (39 Hallett Crescent).
